Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website or contact us. It applies to the functions currently offered on this website.

1. Controller

Spacemagnets Europe GmbH, Immendorfer Str. 1D, 50354 Hürth, Germany

Phone: +49 (0) 2233 9497698 · Email: info@spacemagnets.de

Register court: Cologne Local Court · HRB 79322 · VAT ID: DE 291818542

2. Hosting, delivery and server logs

Each visit requires the processing of technical connection data. This may include the IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring address, browser and operating-system details, transferred data volume, and status or error codes.

Processing is necessary to provide the website securely, reliably and efficiently and to detect and prevent misuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of our online presence.

The production website is provided through a cloud-based website and hosting platform. Infrastructure and CDN services may be used for technical delivery. The connection and server-log data required for delivery, security and troubleshooting is processed for this purpose.

The scope, anonymisation and retention period of technical logs depend on the platform and its security configuration. We do not use these logs to create personal usage profiles. Where service providers process personal data on our behalf, this is governed by the data-protection agreements required by law.

3. Contact and technical enquiries

When you contact us by email or use the technical-enquiry form, we process the information you submit to handle and answer your request. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns pre-contractual steps or a contract, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

When you submit the form, your details are encrypted in transit to the website server. The message is then sent through the Brevo transactional-email service to office@spacemagnets.de. office@spacemagnets.de is used as the technical sender, while your email address is placed in the Reply-To field so we can reply directly to you.

You may optionally submit one PDF, JPG or PNG file of up to 8 MB. File extension, size and signature are checked before transmission. Please submit only documents required for your enquiry and do not include special categories of personal data.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the form from automated misuse. This may involve processing the IP address, device and browser information and a short-lived verification token. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form and our email infrastructure from spam and misuse.

Enquiry data is deleted when it is no longer required for handling the request. Where a business relationship results or statutory commercial or tax-retention obligations apply, the relevant records are retained for the legally required period.

4. Cookies, analytics and local storage

We do not use our own analytics, tracking or marketing services on this website. We do not create user profiles or provide personalised advertising.

Your selection in the privacy popup is stored only in your browser so the popup does not reappear on every page view after you confirm it. This storage contains no user identifier and is not used for analytics or marketing.

Technically necessary storage or security features of the hosting, CDN and Turnstile operation may be used where required for delivery, load distribution or protection of the website. Non-essential cookies or similar technologies would require consent before use. If such functions are added in future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and, where required, a consent mechanism will be introduced before activation.

5. Maps, external links, downloads and fonts

An embedded Google Maps map can be loaded on the contact page. The map is activated only after you consent to the “External media” category in the privacy popup. On later visits it loads automatically based on your locally stored selection. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may withdraw at any time for the future through the privacy settings.

When the map loads, your IP address, device and browser information and usage data may in particular be transmitted to Google Ireland Limited. Further processing and transfers to third countries by Google cannot be excluded. No connection to Google Maps is established without consent.

Linked external websites and downloadable documents may have their own privacy policies. Fonts used on this website are provided locally, so visiting the site does not establish a connection to Google Fonts.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Recipients may in particular include the service providers used for website hosting and technical delivery, Brevo for transactional email and Cloudflare for misuse protection, where this is necessary for the purposes described above. We do not disclose personal data for advertising purposes.

Transfers to third countries cannot be ruled out when technical infrastructure and expressly activated external services, in particular Google Maps, are used. Where required, such transfers are based on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

7. Your rights

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, email info@spacemagnets.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW).

8. Security and automated decisions

We use encrypted HTTPS connections and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the website. No solely automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.

9. Updates to this policy

We review this Privacy Policy when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The version published on this page, together with its update date, is authoritative. Material changes and any required consent mechanisms will be implemented before a new function is activated.
